Mike Pav

Mike Pav is the madman who introduced Andy Hoyle to radio and has been suffering for it for more than 20 years.

Known in non-league football circles throughout Greater Manchester, Mike has extensive experience of Tameside sport, especially soccer and cricket, and is a long-time supporter of Hyde United and Hyde Cricket Club. Over the last 30 years he has worked for the Football Pink, was sports editor at the Reporter for 12 years, and non-league football correspondent for BBC Radio Manchester since 1995.

Beyond that he has written several books on local history and perhaps because of his knowledge of the past is occasionally allowed to host his own oldies show here on 103.6FM Tameside Radio.
