Manchester Camerata Proms in Hyde Park
Concert starts 7.30pm - the gates open 5.00pm, pre-show entertainment from 6.30pm on
Saturday evening sees the return of 'Proms in Hyde Park' as Manchester Camerata once again take centre stage to perform an extensive programme featuring music from the movies and favourite Bond classics, including soloist performances.
This years concert will be conducted by Timothy Redmond.
This years pre-show entertainment will be provided by Dream Story, an acoustic-electric duo from West Manchester. Hayley Skye and Dan Holman are professional musicians who love to perform your favourite songs with style and sparkle!! They play a blend of classic and contemporary popular numbers from musics best decades, so be sure to listen out for the tracks you love!
The evening will conclude with a spectacular firework display set to some of the traditional 'Last Night of the Proms' flag-waving classics including Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Pomp and Circumstance.View the full concert programme.Concert programmes, priced 50p each, will be available to purchase on the evening.
This is an outdoor event. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Picnics more than welcome.
